Our Training Center
G4S, training center approved by the national minister of education.
The training is organized around 4 main pillars and it covers the needs of our company as well as our customers requests ; it supports the policy of competences management for which it represents a leverage. It is based on the generic tests of competences passed during the recruitment-interviews.
I - Initial training:
Initial training is the base common to all the personnel of the company. This initial training can be acquired (whole or part) during a preceding career, in a Luxembourg or foreign company. It is by default sanctioned with an recognized diploma or an official certificate and relates to 3 points:: first aid, the fire, safety. Assuming the applicant does not have prior expertise, G4S ensures the leveling of the future guard by the means of its training center.
II - Additional training:
This training meets the precise requirements for certain missions of security , which without being exhaustive , make it possible to satisfy the requirements of the supranational sites, basic transport or protection of diplomatic legations.
III - Training of special competences :
This targeted training meets the legal needs for the operators of a pre definite sector such as for example:
31 - Professional in financial sector (PSF),
32 – Fire fighting services (3 levels),
33 – Store Detective (struggle against theft and spite),
Training adapted to a special/new need can also be set up. The various levels described supra , enter into the development-frame of the professional career; they are included in the directory of competences. Basic or higher level know-how is periodically updated/kept on level and registered in the administrative records of the interested parties. The contents of the training-sessions are described within the training-catalogue. The continued efforts in education of G4S guards , allows the company to offer authentic career-opportunities to staff-members and offers to those interested, and where potential is visible, a real opportunity of reorientation. In addition to these steps, a continuous training program is prepared for each guard. This way-of-doing results from a common process between H.R. , Employer & hierarchical responsible.
